王一奇 (中文履歷)
Associate Professor
Department of Philosophy
National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan
| My research centers on information-theoretical aspects of knowledge, meaning and language use, concerning how natural languages and logic contribute to information processing and exchange, and how semantic concepts like intentionality, meaning, and truth, emerge from the framework. The areas that I work on include philosophy of language, formal semantics, philosophy of mind, and philosophical logic, and their connections and related issues with metaphysics, epistemology, linguistics, and cognitive science. I am currently also working on applied ethics, especially medical ethics. |
